KITCHEN COACHING
How Kitchen Coaching Works
When you sign up for a Kitchen Coaching session, you will select a classic menu from the suggested options. That is, unless you are working towards a specific goal or health issue, in which case modifications are in order.
Whatever you decide to make, whether it’s sushi or pasta, the food will be a starting point from which you can jump into the wonderful world of intuitive cooking.
I will arrive at your house with all the necessary groceries and recipes, and together we’ll set off on a kitchen adventure. By the time I leave your (cleaned-up) kitchen, you’ll be excited about cooking!
I am an experienced cook and love to share my skills and enthusiasm for cooking
(In other words, I have mad skills)
In your 2 to 2½ hours Kitchen Coaching session, you will learn tips and tricks that will:
Start you on your way
You’ll learn how to cook for yourself every day so that it becomes a healthful and satisfying habit.
Help you become confident
When you are skilled at something, you enjoy it, and when you enjoy it, you want to keep doing it. Together, we will make being in the kitchen a pleasurable experience.
Teach you to cook with flexibility
By learning to cook – rather than reading recipes – you’ll become a natural at substituting one ingredient or piece of equipment for another.
Make you fall in Love with your kitchen
I come to you and teach you to make the most of your kitchen, no matter what size it is or how much equipment you have, unlike cooking classes held in fancy schmancy professional kitchens.
Build your confidence and help expand your horizons
Maybe you totally dig on making scrambled eggs and homemade pizza, but need some serious support from a knowledgeable cook to help you build your repertoire.
I will guide you through a menu that is designed for you, and together we will transform recipe instructions from the page to a delicious real life extravaganza!
GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE AVAILABLE
Cooking coaching sessions make fantastic gifts for recent college grads, dwellers in first apartments, take-out fanatics, newly engaged folks, young married couples, or anyone who simply craves a little more confidence and health in the kitchen.
I’ve enjoyed getting to know Carol the past few weeks while she patiently showed me how to organize, prep and cook some delicious recipes, all in my own kitchen. She’s knowledgeable, patient and good company. And she has opened my eyes to the joys of cooking, a minor miracle! I always considered cooking a trial and found it stressful, but now, I think I get it. Cooking is magic and alchemy. There is real joy in creation, and the eating part is simply a bonus.
