As promised, this is a follow up post (recipes included) after my weekend at the Natural Products West show a few weeks ago. Wow what an amazing show this year, with over 71,000 industry members, more than 2,700 exhibiting companies and 634 first-time exhibitors in attendance, more on that in a later post.
I mentioned in an earlier blog post, that I would give you the skinny on Ian’s Natural foods after the show, so let’s get to it. The way people were flocking to the Ian’s booth to check out all the new and tried and true products that Ian’s Natural Foods has to offer consumers. It’s no wonder that Chuck Marble was beaming with pride the day we spoke.Once photos and handshakes were done, it was time for me to move on to one of my favorite parts of the interview, the sampling. My eyes and my nose immediately guided me to Sriracha Fire Sticks. These spicy little numbers were nothing short of delish. I highly recommend them when you are wanting something spicy and crunchy-FYI they are gluten-free and made from antibiotic-free white meat cage- free chicken-bonus! Next I hit the “mac and no cheese”-yeppers you read that correctly, no cheese! In fact no milk, no wheat, no gluten, no eggs, not casein and no nuts! Oh, and I don’t want to leave out that there is also no SOY in the Mac and No Cheese! I love that about Ian’s; they really go the extra mile in everything they create. If you have allergies like so many folks do, you will find your luck with this oh so yummy natural brand. I could go on and on, and will if you comment with a question about another Ian’s product you are curious about.
I recently received a variety of Ian’s panko style breadcrumbs to try (Thanks Alexandra!) I have made a few things so far, and have loved each one of the flavors I have tried. Lucky you, below are the recipe links as well as a couple of other related articles I think you will enjoy.
